4th of July/Mini-vacation

I hope everyone has had a good 4th of July holiday!  I'm sure most of you spent time with family and friends shooting off fireworks, BBQing, and enjoying each others company.  There are always so many accidents on this holiday whether it be with the fireworks, while on the road, or while at the lake.

I had a mini-vacation over this holiday which was long overdue!  Spent a few days at Fall River Lake with some great friends (who are more like family) and we had a blast!  There is nothing better than the relaxing feel of the great outdoors.  You get out there and there are no worries at all.  We spent lots of time hanging out, catching up, laughing, and sharing in each others good company.  What more can you ask for? 

We had several fun blow up water toys for the kids and the adults too!  There was this floating island and you could go out and get on it and just relax.  Well, one day I went out to just relax and ended up falling asleep.  That first day we spent out on the water, boy did we all get fried! 

I can't believe that it is already July and hard to believe that summer is half way over!  Things will be fun and busy for the remainder of the summer and before we know it school will be starting back up again!  I am ready for the short break from summer classes to fall classes.  Looking forward to the new semester though.  Have some fun classes lined up for fall!
